[ ITINERARY ]


The Rolling Hostel (‘Hotel on Wheels’) is an unique experience that takes you directly to a multi-activity weekend in the middle of the Andes.You’ll have the chance to do great outdoor activities in the best landscapes of the Andes. Everything from paragliding to rafting on the same day.

Leave the city behind and reach the mountains that you’ve seen from your hotel room. Enjoy a breathtaking walk to a beautiful glacier’s lagoon, place where you will see all the greatness of the Andes and discover their geography, flora and fauna.Sleep besides hot spring baths and hike to the magnificent Morado Glacier.

You’ll have the chance to do great outdoor activities in the best landscapes of the Andes. Everything from paragliding to rafting on the same day.


1. Santiago - Laguna del Morado Between 7:00 and 8:00 am we’ll pick you up at your hostel and head to the mountain city of San José de Maipo. From there we take a detour to our hiking spot in the El Morado Natural Monument where we will do a 4 hour walk. In the evening we arrive to our camping place where we enjoy a nice dinner under the stars and some of the highest peaks of the Andes.
2. Laguna del Morado – Santiago   After the breakfast, we begin our adventure day. In the morning you will have the chance to do some rafting. After a quick lunch, we head up to the adventure park where you can do paragliding, canopy, rafting and rock-climbing. For those who feel less adventurous, there are nice areas to walk around, lookouts and spectacular nature. After our full adventure day, we return to Santiago around 8:00 pm. Optional: we stop for dinner at a typical chilean restaurant.

Required equipment:
a sleeping bag, hiking shoes (light-hiking boots), thermal clothing (long underwear and fleece), water proof and quick dry clothing, gloves, hat, lip protector, sun block, sun glasses, water bottle and small back pack.
